is there poverty, starvation, cancer, aids, child porn, and all the other bad things that happen in this world.
If God has a plan for everybody he is deranged. Why plan for things like Rape, torture and war to happen to people!

Exactly, either god is evil or doesn't exist. (Most likely the latter)

The world does not belong to God, the world belong to Satan. That is why you here people say secular and non-secular. Secular is thing of the world (the physical world, the stuff that you can see and tough.) Non-secular the opposite often time referred as the spirit world.

Every human is born with the ability to kill, rape, steal etc. But by the saving grace of God and hopefully a good home environment we are saved from our sinful nature. When things go wrong people want to blame God. He is not responsible for all that bad things that go on in our lives. If we don't sin then we are not subject to those things. Unfortunately there are spirits in this world that come to do harm. And they influence humans to do things that are harmful to everyone.

As far as poverty, you have to look at the structure of the world. Look at the people who are poor and then look at the people who are wealthy. Ask yourself how did they get rich? Was it through hard work or was it through underhand dealings. Look at Enron, was it God that had those people loose their life savings or was it the greedy people at the head of the company that did it. Their greed (which is a sin) is what caused so much chaos.

Humans have choices (it's a divine gift), we can choose to help others; like erasing the debt in some African countries so that their government (if it is a good one) can provide for the people. Or will we turn away and say it's not our problem.

Humans and our choices have put the world where it is now, not God.

I hope this answers your question, if not please e-mail me.

A lot of these things I wouldn't blame on God. Poverty, starvation, child porn, rape, torture, and war are all man-made problems. If we were better people, they wouldn't happen. As for cancer, AIDS, and other diseases, they seem just to go hand in hand with having a body. God doesn't want people to be tortured, raped, starved, etc. I guess his plan for most of us is to stop that from happening, to make our world a better place, to bring about the reign of God. For those who still suffer from such things, I believe God's plan is to help them overcome, to lend them strength to face whatever challenges are in their lives, and to always find ways to love and help each other.

I am not an expert but.......God turned the world over to Satan because they were feuding over leadership. He said that He would give Satan an undetermined amount of time to allow men to have free will...God will step in on Judgment Day and put an end to all the evil. I know this doesn't help for the present. I ask this question everyday - I can only hope that Judgment Day is sooner rather than later. If you want to start a Killing Club to demolish the sick demented pieces of sh*t, I will be your first member. Let's start with Andrea Yates. What say you?

Ok, say you have a child. You set rules like no under age drinking, no smoking, no sex before marriage, no drugs. You set a curfew and other standards for him/her to live by, but your child feels that he/she is better equipped to direct their own life. As the parent you have the power to put a stop to it or let them prove their point. You decide to let them prove their point and follow their own thinking. They get involved with the wrong people, start drinking, taking drugs, premarital sex. I know some will read this and say whatever, but if things like that didn't happen you couldn't use it as an example wouldn't you agree? N-e-way, what are the consequences of their bad actions? Jail, STD,unwanted pregnancy, driving drunk getting in a accident possibly kill themselves along with who ever they hit or just killing someone else. I could go on but you know, time limits me. Now you could've at anytime jumped in and gotten your child out of that situation but you didn't, does that mean you planned all the bad things that happened, that you hate him/her or that you just simply don't exist? Of course not. If your child realizes their mistake and want to come back home and get their life together and do right, without a doubt you'll forgive their errors and let him/her back into the loving surroundings that were there waiting for their return. James 1:13 says when under trial let no one say: I'm being tried by God. For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. Satan challenged God's right to rule, and if Jehovah(Psalms 83:18) had destroyed Satan the question would have gone unanswered and up till now the angels and maybe even we would wonder was Satan right. Could we have done better without Jehovahs rulersip? So Jehovah has set up a time limit for Satan to prove his point to us, to the angels and himself whose rulership is better. And when the time limit is up those who chose to side with Jehovah will live on earth in peace and those who sided with Satan will share in his destruction as brought out in Psalms 37:9-11, and Revelation 21:4 says that pain, death, mourning and outcry will be no more. So the condition of the earth and mankind is temporary and will soon be over for good. I hope this was helpful to you.

God does not allow these things, mankind does. God gave us everything we need to make this planet work, including our free will to love and cherish each other, or do the opposite. if God micromanaged, then our lives would mean nothing because they wouldn't be our lives anymore, and we wouldn't be responsible for anything. The fact that you CAN even ask that question implies that we are the ones who determine our destiny. God may know what will happen in a sense, but we make the choices, and that includes surrendering our imperfect selves to His/Her will.

Do you think things happen by mystical accident?

No, i didn't think so.

People are the root of evil, has nothing to do with God.

People make CHOICES, they can be good, or they can be bad. And man spends a lot of time focusing on the Dark Side of humanity, instead of the Light Side.

What you are seeing is the product of the choices that HUMANS have on earth.

God does not intervene in "man's" world. EVER.

This is his big experiment.

If your mind, body and soul operates on a lower vibrational level, you will be surrounded by people from your level.

Educate yourself, and open your mind so you can be enlightened.

Supposedly these are tests of faith...or at least that's what I've gathered from those trying to explain the answer to that same question I've asked when I pose it to them...

If you can get through this (Starvation, poverty, etc) and still believe in God, then your faith is obviously proved. Ludicrous.

Sin. When God created the universe and all that is in it, He declared it "very good". Sin entered the picture and ruined it. We live in a broken world because of sin. This is not the world God intended for us, but through the decision of Adam and Eve to listen to the evil one instead of God, the world God created for us ceased to be. If you hate the bad things in this world, hate sin, it is the root cause.

That isn't the case. We have our free will. God sent us here so that we may chose how to live our life. You need to remember that there is not only God in this life but also the Devil. He is here to tempt us to stir us away from doing what is right. To understand God You need to Read. Try reading the Bible. Then get on your knees and ask him yourself. If you ask with a sincere heart you will get your answer.

Bad things happen as a result of free will and moral responsibility. Everyone has the free will to act as they choose, whether good or ill, and so everyone is responsible for their own actions. However, unfortunately, in order for free will to be meaningful, everyone has to endure the consequences of everyone else's decisions.
