But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

Wisdom is that state that enables us to look at a decision, a thought, or an act, in the same way across time, moods, and other factors.

Wisdom has very little correlation with intelligence. In fact, some of the world's most intelligent people have had extremely unwise beliefs and judgements (such as Robert J Fischer or George Bernard Shaw).

{Wisdom} (To make choices that are balanced and well thought through which surve a clear purpose.} The though processes that results in the best possible out come (saving face, saving lives, answering correctly or in persuit of the right choice etc... "whilst having a high chance of succeeding")

A person who has been recognised as wise is generally thought to have Wisdom.

- Considered by most as something that cannot be taught.

- A combination of

(Experience, Cognitive thought, Knowledge, Consideration of all aspects)

In many ways, Wisdom is the ability to make correct judgments and decisions. Some think it is an intangible quality gained through experience. Yet others think it is a quality that even a child, otherwise immature, may possess independent of experience or complete knowledge. Whether or not something is wise is often determined in a pragmatic sense by its popularity, how long it has been around, and its ability to predict against future events. Wisdom is also accepted from cultural, philosophical and religious sources; in this sense, wisdom is often listed along side other virtues Insight, Knowledge, and Prudence. Some think of wisdom as foreseeing consequences and acting to maximize beneficial results.

Many modern authorities on government, religion and philosophical ethics say that wisdom connotes an enlightened perspective. This perspective is sometimes defined in a utilitarian way, as effective support for the long-term common good.

Wisdom is knowledge combined with understanding. Sometimes it means you wait quietly for others to find their own answers. Sometimes it means seeing the outcome before others do. Sometimes it means acting, sometimes it means holding back. It goes hand in hand with good judgment. It is usually the product of experience, but many are wise beyond their years. It is not limited to either gender, and it is not limited to adults. It is not limited to any religion.

Understanding people, truly accepting them, and yourself, flaws and all. Being content, and understanding what you DON'T know, and your limits, and that of everyone's elses. Respect also factors into it too, I'd think. Understanding just how little you know is a big one, because it brings humility and such.
