my son was born with a birth defect called coanal atresia ( i hope that i spelled that right) the doctor told me 15 years ago that this means his nose canals arent fully formed and that why he will have a hard time breathing through his nose. that was then and this is now he still cant breath through his nose. what can i do the doctors keep putting him on meds for allergies there not listening to us! does anyone else have this problem and what can be done??

Plastic surgery should be able to fix this no problem and if you have insurance it should be covered.

Yes, find another doctor until you find one that will help. There must be doctors who specialize in problems of the nose. Try calling the American Medical Association.
