I'm so happy!!! When we accept Christ as our Savior, we become new creatures. We don't just practice a religion, we are new people. I am so glad that your life and your mom's life have been blessed by the gift of salvation.
Stay in the Word. Fellowship regularly with other brothers and sisters in Christ! When you stumble, make yourself accountable to the mentors you have in your home church. There is absolutely NOTHING that is more beneficial to a Christian than to be accountable to another Christian. You can support each other, encourage each other, and be there for each other when God needs to test your metal in the trials that will come your way.
Remember, Sister----nothing grows on the mountain top! So God brings us into the valleys so that we can be fed, be strengthened, and grow in our faith.
It's easy to say "Hallelujah" when we're in a time of great blessing. But if you can say, "My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine!" in the times of illness, need, and tragedy, then you know that you can continue to be faithful in the Lord.

Amen, I have seen many lives changed by God's
graces, we have a free will to choose,but God works
in many strange and mysrterious ways,ignore the skeptics
and enjoy the blessings!

Just by you saying it is so doesn't make it true. I too believe in God, but I cannot prove anything, and neither can you or anybody else. Of course the religious fanatics will attempt to cite the usual man-made biblical chapters and verses,

Sounds like a show I watched last night....
There is a shrub in the middle east that produces oils so volatile that they can combust in sunlight. Apparently, this PROVES that Moses spoke to God in the burning bush......
No, it only proves that Moses was halllucinating when he saw something completely natural happen... How does one get from a scientific explanation to God?????? Its all inside your head. Becuase you beleive doesnt make it real.... How many fat chicks beleive they are sexy?? But they ARENT, right??
