I'm an American and am sick of having to defend this country. It is as a racist country as was nazi Germany was. If the jewish community in America wants to support it, they should go there and do so, instead of sitting in the US and lobbying congress.
By the way, I am a veteran, who has feelings for the boys/girls who
have to go to places like Iraq and soon Israel. Stop your ARROGANCE!!!

The American government and the Israeli government are one. There are no difference anymore. It is either Israel is the 51st state in the US or the US is part of Israel. Israel has influential ppl in the US government and the media. They have been playing PR game time and time again with the media and the people of the US that everyone from the grass root level in the US have sympathy on Israel without really knowing the full story of what is happening in the middle east.
Sometimes, it makes me wonder if the American Government really loves the Israeli so much then why dont they provide part of their vast land to the Israelis to occupy and everyone can live in harmony. Palestinians can have their land back, so will the Lebanese and the American government can have their greatest ally as their neighbor.
Right now, the US doesnt look like the "world police" to me. They are more like a slave of Israel, helping Israeli doing their dirty works of destroying their neighbors. And to know that they are the mediator for peace between Israel and Palestine and now Lebanon. There will be no peace as long as this continues to go on. A veteran like you should know how war is and what does self defense means. And im sure of all people, you know better than others that killing people on their land which doesnt belongs to you is not self defense.. It is war..

I too am a veteran(3 yrs army, 7 yrs CG, didn't want to march any
more so I decided to sunbathe on a boat).
Thank-God Almighty for the young people who volunteer to serve
our country.
As for Israel, they are the only true democracy in the Middle East.
And just as importantly they are the best friend we have in the
west in the war on terror.
You say they are racist.
Then explain why their neighbors hate them so much.
Explain why the Iranian PM wants to wipe them off the face of
the earth.
Explain why a Jew in Jordan is forbidden to buy property for any
reason.
Explain why anyone traveling to Syria with an Israeli Customs
or Border stamp in their passport is refused entrance into Syria.
There are a lot of other questions I have but as a Christian I am
commanded to love all people.
So I won't bore you with any more questions on racism.
But I will pray for you, May God Bless You and Keep You.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!
GO ISRAEL!!! HALLELUJAH!!! JESUS IS LORD!!!!!
AJ says America is racist against Muslims. Then please explain
why 5 million Muslims live in this nation with full rights, privideges,
and even citizenship. I work with a number of them, and they
have never ever accused America of suppressing their rights.
We have a congressman(from California) who invented that crazy auto alarm and now helps to run the country.
One of the former Sherrifs of OC is a Persian!!!!!
Go on the web, do something, but please do some research
before making ignorant and imbecilic statements.

I understand your frustration. When it comes to American men and women being killed, I believe that it should only occur when AMERICA's interests are at stake. As far as Israel goes, they are our ally. Perhaps the only one that we have in the Middle East. They can take care of themselves as you can see from recent weeks so there should be no need for us to become involved. But whether they were our ally or not, I totally agree with their present course of action. Hezbollah, within the borders of Lebanon and with the knowledge of the Lebanese government has long been a thorn in the side of Israel. In the last 12 months, there have been over 800 rockets fired, by Hezbollah, into Israel. How long should they have to take this before reciprocating with extreme force to protect the safety of their people? I don't think that we would live with that for very long. American men and women are not presently being killed due to the arrogance of Jewish lobbyists. They are being killed to bring democracy to a country that didn't ask for it.

Israel is most like the U.S. in the Middle East. We have to support Israel for our own security. Without Israel's presence, Islamic extremists would have reasons to target the U.S. and the rest of the Western world to force their Sharia law on us. If you haven't been paying attention, Spain has been targeted by the extremists because hundreds of years ago they expelled them from their country. The extremists view this as a great tragedy even though they'd forced themselves on Spain then. They are the new Nazi organization trying to take over the entire world.
When Israel was formed by the U.N. the land was under the control of the British Empire. Before that they were under the control of the French Empire, before that another, before that another, etc., etc., In all of this there has always been a majority Jewish presence in the land. But the U.N. setup a 2 state arrangement so the Arabs there would have a land of their own. What happened was that the five established neighbors of Israel ganged up and attacked Israel while they were still trying to get established with the united fore sworn goal of driving them into the sea. We were not there big friend in the West at the time. They managed to stop them without outside help unless you want to say God intervened. The Arab populace supported the effort to drive them into the sea and got out of the way. These people were not allowed back into Israel's populace because they were an open threat to Israel's existence. We got involved when our president agreed to support them back then only if they agreed to sit down with the aggressors and start negotiating land for peace deals. We have been a bane on their survival ever since. We are now seeing that their survival is linked to our own because their enemies have declared war on us. We thought of these enemies as a gnat in our soup until they started effectively attacking our interests. I don't mean just our allies, I mean our military ships, our military bases and Embassies, our citizens overseas, and finally our innocent citizens on our own land.
These are cowards hiding among the citizens of their own countries and they are targeting our citizens not just our military. They seek to instill their Sharia law over the entire world. Israel and the U.S. have targeted only military targets but innocent citizens are caught in the cross fire because the enemy hides among them. The U.S. and Israel have not been the initiators of any of these struggles.
Yet we are called morally equivalent to these extremists. A blaring example is the treatment of captured combatants. We are debating whether our prisoners should be tried as criminals with lawyers and court TV but their prisoners are beheaded and dragged through the street. And still the anti-war crowd calls us morally equivalent.

Israel is just an excuse the Muslim Extremists use to justify attempting to force their Medieval fanatical beliefs on all Infidels and even more moderate Muslims.
If that isn't true, please explain why they are also killing people in Russia, India, Indonesia, The Philippines, moderate Muslims in Iraq, and now starting a "Holy War" in Africa none of which have anything at all to do with Israel, America or "The West".
Of course they are perfectly justified in killing people in Israel, America, England, and Spain and starting riots in France.
Right?!
It seems pretty obvious to me that they can't get along with anyone who doesn't share their beliefs.
If you hate the Jews or the US so much that you can't even see the truth of who the real Nazi like aggressors are I feel sorry for you.

America was instrumental in establishing the nation of Israel at the end of World War Two. Ever since, the surrounding Arabic countries have been attempting to get rid of Israel. Since our involvement in establishing Israel entails an alliance with them, we provide them with aid. This had little to do with Iraq. Those few American citizens who are fighting with Israel are doing so on their own. This has been going on for decades without bringing America into war against the Arab states. Our war in Iraq is based on preventing Sadam's regime from destabilizing the entire region as happened when they invaded Kuwait.

the only real difference is that Isreal is Jewish while the rest of the middle east is muslim. though i cant help but laugh when all these people say that the US needs to go to israel and defend them. not the israel isnt worth defending, they are one of our few friends in that region. but when we talk about going to iraq, to help free a people for a leader that is a threat to world security, everyone says no. the same people who have been saying no to iraq are saying yes to israel. pretty much whatever the US government and president Bush does, the democratic community will be against it.

Are you suggesting that we shouldn't defend our allies just because you think they are arrogant. Maybe then, we shouldn't have defended Britain in WWII just because their teeth weren't as pretty as ours. Give me a break - the only one that sounds racist here is you.
The fact of the matter is they are one of the few truly democratic forces of stability in the Middle East. They are fighting Islamic Extremists for the right to live. Do you really think the Extremists will stop if Israel gave up the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, and all the prisoners that the Extremists are demanding to be released?
Did it appease the Extremists when we left Mogadishu? No, it encouraged them, and enboldened them.

it's NOT over the 'occupied' territories. Israel has supplied to supply them again. Arafat had a deal wherein ninety seven% of the occupied territories might be lower back, however he had to respect the state of Israel, and police his militants from attacking it. He would now not do that- and hence would now not receive the deal. Palestinians don't seem to be a cultural or racial organization. They are political refugees that Egypt and Jordan refused to allow in, and have been saved in refugee camps for use as political pawns towards Israel. There used to be no such factor as a "Palestinian" earlier to 1967. The PLO used to be began in 1964 as a terrorist group to free up palestine. the 'occupied territories have been occupied by means of Egypt and Jordan then. The PLO wasn't seeking to extracate themselves from Egypt and Jordan, however used to be seeking to eliminate the state of Israel. It's now not approximately the Occupied Territories in any respect. It's approximately the mere existance of the state of israel. It's approximately bigotry and hatred in the direction of the Jews. They appear around the fence and notice a today's, top tech, affluent economic climate that used to be constructed by means of tough paintings, schooling and a dream. It's lovely tough to look your enemy prospering whilst you wallow on your possess bile. Better kill them. If the Arabs placed down their guns the next day to come- peace might holiday out within the center east. If the Israeli's placed down their guns the next day to come, they might be brutally murdered and overrun. Does anybody disagree with that assertion? Oh- and the quantity of authentic errors in stephaniemariewalksonwater's reaction is alternatively startling. She's simply highly fallacious approximately the whole thing she mentioned.
