I had my last period July 2nd to the 8th I believe and NO spotting after that, My husband and I had intercourse this Tuesday the 25th without protection ( we are trying to concieve) then Thursday evening I had a little dark spotting on the tp but Nothing since. Could that have been implanation bleeding? Like I said we are trying for one more child but I dont want to think to much about it, How long do I have to wait to take a test? After going off birth control several months ago my body is getting back in the swing of things so I dont know when I should be expecting my next period. Also, how quickly after conception can you take a blood test for it to show a +?

implantation usually occurs around day 8 after conception. two days is way too soon. i would wait at least 13-14 days after you think you conceived to take a test.

14 days after the first day of your period is your fertile time. You have a ten day window but the optimum time for conception to take place is from day 14 - day 17. The spotting could have been an implantation. That happens with some women. You should wait until you have missed your period. Then take your pregnancy test to ensure that you get a true reading.
