It honestly depends. Blacks, Asians, hispanics and Whites fr the most part have differing cultures and values. Initially it seems unimportant, but as a relationship progresses it becomes more of an effort than you may want to make. In addition you have to hear all the prejudice crap from your family and theirs and that usually will strengthen the relationship for awhile, but then you find out your dating a person just out of principles and not the reason you wanted to date them. Personally I just got tired of having to deal with customs that just got in the way and bored with the game playing from a historical background I didn't come from.

Not one jot or tittle! One needs to bear in mind that there might be cultural differences, but these differences cross the colour line. There can be cultural differences that prejudice relationships between , say, a white Jugoslavian and a white Briton, or a Punjabi person and someone else who emanates from Rawalpindi.
I am a white Briton. I welcome the magnificent diversity we have in this country that we have gained from those whose forebears migrated to our shores. As a keen cook, I can cook and eat dishes from sources as diverse as Nigeria and Bengal. I can watch and enjoy religious festivals from Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and the Chinese. I can also deeply appreciate the devotion that the followers of Islam pay to their God and their way of life. I do not feel that my religious beliefs are threatened, as I feel that God is Spirit, and different religions reflect different approaches to Spirit.
I do not use Halal or Kosher when I cook for friends of different ethnicities and/or religions - anyone visiting my menage who wants this type of meat will be offered a vegetarian option. Colour of skin does not matter, and, if multiculturalism is allowed to prevail in the UK, it will become even more irrelevant than it is now. Respect for each other, and our traditions, is all that matters.
Colour does not matter.

We are now in the 21st century. No colour does Not matter and it shouldnt.
Those that discriminate lack moral/ethical understanding and are usually uneducated and illiterate half wits.

I dont think it does. People come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, colours and personalities. It makes people more interesting I suppose, because if we all looked the same it would be boring. Wouldn't it? I think so.

It shouldn't. Everyone is pretty much the same with the exception of skin color hair tex, etc, and these differences don't change the worth of an individual.

Well, I think culture does, rather than colour.
Cultural differences can lead to serious conflict in long-term relationships. I've seen enough break up and I've broken up from a couple myself.
