Yes. Did you know that at Wendy's, there is more fat in the french fries than a classic single?

yes french fries are fattening, i recommend
1. slice potatoes into chips or wedgdes
2. drizzle some olive oil and crystallized salt,
3. Place in a PRE HEATED oven, for 30 min or more depending on the texture of the potatoes
heat the oven at 200 degrees, i don't know the conversion)
and you have delicious, home made guilt free food
I've been doing this forever, its very easy. i also like to put garlic pieces in there and season with rosemary. Basically you can put what u like.

If you cut your own potato's and bake them, they are not too fattening.
Here is a recipe
3 russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4 inch strips
cooking spray
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Lightly grease a medium baking sheet.
Arrange potato strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, skin sides down. Spray lightly with cooking spray, and sprinkle with basil, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown
makes 4 servings and only about 155 cal. per serving and 1.9 grams of fat

Usually. Anything that is deep-fried in fat is fattening. The frozen ones that are done in the oven are not so fattening -- in small quantities, though.

Yes, they are. As grandma used to say "the flavor is in the fat". (Sad, isn't it?) A little now and then won't kill you, just make sure you don't make a habit of it and eat well in general.
