Age is just a number for those who need it to matter. Who cares how old your partner is as long as you're not breaking any laws. Rod Stewart married an 18 year old model when he was in his 40's The dude who played Scotty on star trek got his 21 year old wife pregnant when he was in his 80's...and the list could go on forever. I get so pissed off when I hear people whispering about the obvious age difference between couples when I'm out places. It's really no ones business. If your happy...go for it!! I only wish I could make people understand why I stand so strongly in favor of dating who you want. I'm a 53 year old guy who looks about 35, and have the energy of a 20 year old. I am extremely young at heart and refuse to accept societies standards for what I'm "SUPPOSED" to be like at my age. Most of my dates in the past year have been with 20-30 year old women, who don't believe me when I tell them my age. We have a great time together, share common interest, and in general enjoy each others company. Am I breaking any laws or hurting anyone? No. I'm enjoying life the way it was meant to be. All power to you. I hope you stay young at heart forever.

It depends.

Do the two peple want different things? Like specifically, is the woman wanting to get married and have children while the man is just looking to "date"? Obviously this can happen at any age- but women can only have children for a short window in their lives, so its good to figure that out from the beginning. Otherwise, you may be headed for some heart break.

But if the two of you want the same things- then of COURSE you should go for it!

When I was 26, I dated a 46 year old woman. The only problem occurred later when I found out she had borderline personality syndrome. No other problem though.

Not at all - as long as your understand that you two are in two different places in life. You are probably settled in your career, while he is probably still trying to find one. You may already have children, he may want to have some of his own. I know if can work out, as long as you are both willing to make sacrifices (just like any other relationship) to be together.

There is 9 years difference between me an my wife, and we are working through the issues wonderfully.

Yes of course, I have couple of dates with older women from webdate*com. Its definitely fine as long as its alright for both of you. Don't mind the age gap, it would only hinder you or annoy you. Go on and have fun! beside, Its only a date right? Who knows what would happend next?

its only a number, its what and how you cont duct your self and really its , worse then a man wanting a 13year old now that's where you draw a line so age in many cause really isn't others business,or a woman getting a young man or a kid at 14years old that's what scary.

NO - I always think 5 years older or younger is a good range BUT 6 years is perfectly ok too.
