Wow, that should be a lesson for all of us. To many children feel that they have no responsibility to care for their parents when they get old (just throw them in a nursing home and visit when ever they have nothing else to do)

It reminds me that I need to call my mom and tell her how much I appreciate everything that she has done for me all my life and it also reminds me that we so many times leave this world the same way we came in; bald, wrinkled, and with no teeth. ha ha

Thank you for sharing this with me, I'm going to call my mom now

As a teenager and a daughter I can tell you that some people really need to see that. My generation doesn't really understand their parents. I know that sometimes they're right but so are we. Sometimes older people criticize us just for being young. So, what I think is that the slideshow only shows one side of opinion.

Way to make me cry! ;_;

I was a bit sceptical of it at first, but there is a lot of truth and wisdom in that little slide show, and in the end I quite liked it.

I've accused my parents of trying to control my life (I'm 23) but that video has helped me understand they're just still looking out for me, and a lot of people don't have that anymore.

Still, I prefer the Westlife version of that song! :-D

i dunno. it started out well enough but some parts came off condescending at times. other times, it came back a little and i thought maybe it would come together at the end. i know one thing for sure. im never gonna tell my kids ' i dont want to live anymore. i want to die.' that part just doesnt fit me at all, id never say that.

its heart felt but long music part sucks but we need to cherish our parents , grandparents, and children as well, bc in this day n age no one has compassion for the elderly anymore, or the time to be bothered with them, why they did it all for us, why not give back to them, to repay them, be with them til the end. make it easier for them, show them we care that we are still here for them

i have one word for it....BEAUTIFUL....i cried my eyes out just watching the film....it is so deeply emotional and i hope it speeks to many others like it spoke to me.... i for one believe that the older generation deserve our up most respect and care....saddly a lot of people don't take time to look at the beauty of our elders when they teach us so much if we will take the time stop and listen....thank you so much for posting this question....may it change the hearts and out looks of many.....love daisy

Very nice website. Thanks for sharing because many people dismiss their parents when they are old and don't go see them enough until it's to late.
