Simple as this:

In the Genesis account of creation Adam and Eve walked in the garden of Eden in total harmony with God. Immediately after they disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden fruit, they became “aware” of good and EVIL. And upon seeing that they were naked and feeling ashamed, they hide from God.

At that point in time, when sin entered the world mankind began living in conflict and disharmony with God. Today man still hides from God… either through total disbelieve, ignorance or apathy.

The wages of sin is death… all men sin… and all men die. However man is given a choice. Man can choose to believe in the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus for our sins and be born again; or he can choose to remain in rebellion and separation from God, which will bring the consequence known in the book of Revelations as the second death. The second death is Hell… or eternal separation from God.

Isn’t it interesting that man can choose to be born twice and die once,
or to be born once and die twice.

The horrors of society today are due to mankind’s separation from God. Yet we all, sinner and saint alike still enjoy a certain portion of Gods blessing. The light, the beauty of the earth, health, love or some form of it exists for all.

When thinking of Hell… think of all the pain and emptiness we see and feel in our own lives and in the lives of others as (we / they) experience mans inhumanity to man, disease, hunger, etc. Now take away the blessings we get from God without asking… instead of light… darkness, instead of beauty…ugliness, instead of health… sickness, instead of love… sorrow and grieving… HELL.

Law of The Farm – you reap what you sow. Sow separation from God on Earth… reap eternal and COMPLETE separation

We create our own heavens and our own hells, based on what we are taught of them and on what we experience in our other-worldly travels. I believe some of what the Bible says may have happened, but in its whole it is nothing more than a many-times handed-down account of what people saw, both in their life and in their visions/dreams. It's not to be taken literally. The "hell" of the Christian Bible does NOT exist, nor do its punishments as listed therein. The "hell" of the Bible is simply a vast area of the lower astral planes where Lucifer (yes, he is a valid entity) and his armies of daemon exist when they are not out and about on this plane. It is not a place where bad people and non-believers go to burn eternally. People who are unable to progress in their incarnations due to actions, beliefs and simple lack of knowledge in this life are often brought into an area of the lower astral between the veils called "Heaven's Dark Eve," also known as purgatory in some religions. It isn't "hell," and it isn't forever by any means. It's a place of neutrality, and a place to wait until the soul has matured enough to progress into its next physical existence.

I realize I'm probably speaking Greek to most of you, but there will be some who will understand and that's all that matters.

There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.

If someone believes the Bible, the inspired Word of God, then they should believe in hell. If the Bible is true (which it is) then every word is true (which it is).

I don't deny Hell. The OT describes it as "having enlarged her mouth beyond measure".....The NT describes it as "the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Do you realize Jesus spoke of Hell more than He did Heaven? Believe me, a good Christian person who honestly strives to know as much as he/she can about God cannot possibly deny the existence of Hell.

There are scriptures in the bible that talk about eternal or everlasting torment. Yet, there are also other scriptures that say when a person dies they are conscious of nothing at all. The bible says the penalty for sin is death, not torment. When Jesus spoke of the condition of someone dead he likened it to sleep (Jairus daughter). How could a person be conscience of nothing yet still feel burning pain? If you are burning in a hellfire you would have to be conscience of something in order to feel pain. When God passed judgement on Adam, He said nothing about Adam burning in eternal torment, He simply said that Adam was going back to the ground from which he came. Please look up the meaning of the words "Sheol" and "Hades". These words are simply speaking of the condition of the dead, they are in the grave common to all mankind, they no longer exist. please see www.watchtower.org for more info.

Hell is referred to in the book of Revelation as the bottomless pit (Re.9:1-2). The bottomless pit is a reality upon this earth in the spiritual realm. In the Dead Sea is the location of the bottomless pit/perdition/hell.

The Dead Sea is outside Jerusalem in the “new” earth, and the Dead Sea is outside of Jerusalem on this earth as well. In the "new” earth, outside "that great city, the holy Jerusalem" (Re.21:10), are those who have taken part in the second death (Re.21:8, Re.22:15, Re.14:9-1, Re.20:15). In the "new” earth there is no more sea (Re.21:1), and those whose who have taken part in the second death can be looked upon (Isa.66:24, Re.14:10).

Some people who read the Bible realize that almost every place that the word 'hell' shows up, it is a false translation of other words such as:

- the grave (shaeol)
- Gehenna (a refuse dump outside Jerusalem)
- Hades
- Tartarus

I don't believe in the bible - I'm convinced people didn't like Jesus and his message and changed it dramatically (the 4 books in the NT were chosen because they represented the popular interpretation, not necessarily the correct one). The god and jesus of the bible represent an ego god -- ironically, this is a 'false image' that hides the real god. Unconditional Love is unlike our ego thought system.
