There's a feature called Call Screening call your local phone company to order it. The feature will allow you to block up to 10 numbers from dialing your phone.

You can pay (quite a bit) extra for a phone feature here that lets you do that if you know the caller's number. But it was something like $10-$20/month. And of course it costs the phone company essentially zero, so it is all profit to them.

Get Caller ID and tell your phone company to block calls that don't have Caller ID turned on. That way you'll know who's calling. Plus I'm pretty sure you can block certain numbers when you have Caller ID.

You can block somebody by calling your phone company and asking them to block particular phone numbers. They will do it free of charge

Look in the front pages of your phone book. There should be instructions telling you how to block numbers.

I get block calling on my phone but I do not use it much but it is part of my package deal from Centurytel. Check with your phone company to find out more.

*67 but you have to be subscribed to it and do it right after they call so the phone can catch the number.
