There are several good ways to become completely relaxed.

Take a walk while emptying the mind of all stressful topics.
Look at the sky, at a tree. Look in a different direction than you usually do. During this and all activities, breathe deeply as often as you think about it.

Meditate while thinking about nothing.

Eat a meal slowly while concentrating on flavor, texture, and where the food was grown.

Enjoy a good orgasm. Pain and stress relieving chemicals flood the bloodstream. Muscles tense and relax deeply. The heart settles into a calm rhythm. Having a good "climax" is like re-booting your brain's computer. After an orgasm, you forget all the junk that you mind has been serving up. Your top priorities float into your awareness.

After good sex, you will either drift into blissful sleep, or you will become strongly awake and more alert.

Happy "chill out" time to you!

What I like to do when I'm really stressed to the edge is go into a quiet, cool, dark room and out on some soothing music. (I personally enjoy Queensryche's Silent Lucidity) After just a few minutes I can feel my blood pressure lowering and my troubles melt away :)

Boy I wish I had the answer to that. My guess would be alcohol, NO caffeine, no sugar and warm milk. Maybe some tranquilizing medications in place of the alcohol.

Reiki is fantasitc. After a reiki session you are so relaxed that you feel like you're on cloud nine!

Also, excercising yourself until you're knackered really does help you relax!
