There were books before the bible... written by humans, as was the bible.

In fact, some of the earliest known writings came from a region of Mesopotamia, which is now called Iraq. There were also ancient writings discovered in Egypt and China.

I am under the impression that only physical human beings have the ability to write. Deities or conceptual beings are not able to physically scribe anything! However. I have been lead to believe that Satan was a angel who was very naughty. And if we are to accept that God created everything then this would prima facie suggest that god was around before he created any angels and therefore able to write his book first. This is of course not possible because the first point that I have raised.

I would say neither if we are speaking of literal books here.

But otherwise, God, in that the creation brought into existence by Him is in some way a book for us men. We can, if we have eyes to see, look upon the heavens and all that is beneath them and learn of the Wisdom of their Maker.

If we are using this analogy, I would also say that Satan and his do not so much write books as vandalise and attempt to corrupt the book written by the Almighty.

the first book, or the first one that was any good?

What does it matter? They both signed away editorial control ages ago and use ghostwriters exclusively. Neither even bother to turn up to signings anymore. It's a bit like James Bond - most of the stories you know, Ian Fleming never even heard let alone wrote.

Just MY belief, that's all -

Neither God nor Satan wrote any books. Books were written by humans, and as such are most likely IMPERFECT.

God knows, they are certainly being misinterpreted today as it is - in EVERY religion!

Neither of them...Even God didn't write a book his disciples (I think that is what they are called) did. They took the words in conversations with god and wrote them down. So basically they just interpreted the word of God and wrote it down.
