I just bought the Frizz Ease Straight Ahead shampoo & conditioner by John Frieda. Do you think It really helps frizz.... or was it just a waste of my money?

I have tried everything from John Frieda to Suave to Pantene to Matrix. The best line I have EVER used is Infusium. It keeps the hair soft and silky without the frizz. Its about the same price as the John Frieda stuff and you get a bit more. The John Frieda stuff I think is okay, but for the prices I think you are getting a rip-off. If you go to Shopko (if you have one in your area) they normally have the Infusium 23 Frizz Revitalizer line (it is the red kind with the red tops) on clearance. For the quality you get it is far better than the John Frieda stuff. John Frieda is overated, and overpriced for the quality you get.

If you want to get rid of frizz for good try these tips

DO NOT BRUSH HAIR WHEN IT IS WET!!!! USE WIDE TOOTH COMBS

Your hair is probably dry and when its wet its more susceptible to breakage. When your hair is dry and you brush it when its wet then it breaks causing breakage and split ends. When you have breakage it causes frizz and it gets harder to repair.

Hope this helps and Good luck.

Shampoos and conditioners don't really help frizzy hair. I mean you can use a better brand and have more conditioned hair but your hair will still get frizzy. You have to put in a product after you have washed your hair like when you are drying it to help with frizz.

they don't look to be expensive in any respect...you could purchase their products in walmart or a drugstore. i love there frizz serum...its a sparkling silicone depending product that you take advantage of on damp hair---works tremendous for taming frizz and flyaways....

I prefer, Corrective hair serum by zero frizz. It works well, it seems to cut out the frizz and improve the condition of hair.
