My guess is within a few years. Some companies are already doing it to their employees. With the introduction to the Patriot Act, anything is possible. They'll just convince the people it's a defense against terrorism.

The first answer to my question is a perfect example of how easy it would be for them to do this without much rebutal. This question was aimed at christians by the way who know what I'm really asking.

And serf, the news must be hearsay. They actually provided the name of the company and one of the first volunteers a while back.

i dont see a problem with it. it would be easy to find a child whose been kidnapped. wouldnt it?

you christians dont actually stop and consider the positives that would come with microchipping. all you think about is what your bible says about everyone recieving a number

first it was social security numbers
then it was credit card numbers
now its microchips.....

and to think youve chummed up to the first and second one just fine.

you christians are whacked.

Actually, the event can be reasonably traced to the Tribulation period occuring after the Rapture. Revelations says that no man can buy or sell save he have the mark. With the microchip technology, the Antichrist can do everything Satan will energize him to do concerning controlling the economic stability of everyone on the planet (as long as they swear allegiance to him and accept the mark, which of course dooms them to Hell). Who knows how it will be introduced? You may be 100% correct in assuming that the Antichrist will use the Patriot Act as a smokescreen!

Oh man. I would hate to have a microchip with me all the time. Talka about big brother! I live in Switzerland and they have all these things you have to register for at your local government office thing. If you move, you have to change that stuff and re register. So the Swiss government knows where I am all the time. Its kinda scary. I would not wan't to be microchiped espcially with the people who run the government now. That would be like soviet Russia or something where they know EVERYTHING that you do. I have to say that that would be pretty ****** up in the land of the free.

they are already micro chipping people ,check out mondex.com..seriously master card bought like 51% of stock of this company and the really weird thing is the chip can only be placed under the scalp or in the right hand and if you try to remove it (the chip is supose to contain lithium) it would kill you . this thing is like as small a a grain of rice, they have pictures and everything on the site. let me know what you found out e-mail me..soulsista..will you take the mark of the beast?

I agree, I watched a programme where they were also microchipping some nightclub members in Holland. It meant that they could get in and 'buy' drinks. Any money 'spent' was deducted from their credit cards, which they had registered at the time of joining.

Very scary and interesting times ahead

If they have reason to suspect you as a terrorist, I say go for it. I have nothing to hide.

But I guess people don't care if terrorists crash into another building. Maybe this time it will be the Sears tower in Chicago.

What companies are doing this to their employees? That sounds like hearsay.

Probably sooner than we think. They're already trying to tag all livestock where they can track they're movements, which personally, I don't think the government should know every where I take my horse. See link below for the NATIONAL ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (NAIS) which I am opposed to!!
