I like to ride unicorns and eat flavored clouds, they taste like cotton candy. I also fly the wind, and dance on sunbeams. The moon sings to me, and the stars tell me jokes. Isn't life fun?

I think someone is jerking your chain pretty hard! Remember atheism (loosely translated) means "a lack of belief in a higher authority or Supreme Being" and etc. If they even call Satan their Lord, they're deifying him, thus creating a sense of theism. IF it is a way to reveal absurdity in the thought process, it's a weak attempt at doing so because these people's sarcasm would put them in the same category as a professing Christian, believeing in a higher power....

Erm, it's a bit late here so I'm not sure if I'm following this. Forgive me if I make no sense. I think these atheist people who say they worship Satan are probably being sarcastic because, surely if you don't believe in God, you can't believe in Satan. I think a lot of religious people are a bit thick, for want of a better phrase, and actually do believe that you must worship Satan if you are not part of their religion.

Do you even have a clue yourself what it is you're trying to ask?
If someone said 'I'm sorry for being stupid, I'm an evolutionist, I worship satan and I'm an atheist. That would not be sarcasm, it would be stupidity.
If someone said,"Hallelujah!! I see it now!! Your god is all about love and you've changed my life. How can I ever thank you?" THAT would be sarcasm.
However, either one would be lost on the average goddite.

Rhetoric is the use of language to cause a desired effect. The person saying that is using sarcasm. He's pretty much saying that he's an atheist, but then adding that he's a Satanist to save the bible-thumpers the trouble. Blessed be.

Sheez, I'd have to ask Nathaniel Hawthorne ...and Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain), and Salman Rushdie ... as they used such literate ploys- respecting the intelligence of others - that they might actually "see through the ruse" ... Swift was another before the Lilliputians killed him ...
Rhetoric ... as in building a series of didactic propositions ... hmm ... Much like Socrates who possessed a faith in man's reason to arrive at his own conclusions ...
But they should probably all burn in hell- we just got some AC units and ceiling fans .. so I think we can make some room for them in our new comfort wing down here ...

Im guessing you are right, but the one thing i say, is it doesnt matter who they worship, but if they worship anything other than god, they go to hell. Thats how life works i guess. People like athiests want to stand out by saying "i worship satan", Its a mad attempt for them to think that are right when really they are wrong.

he's a satanist - no longer an Atheist. yet that's extra complicated than that because of the fact specific satanists are surely Atheists on account that type of satanism does no longer have faith in gods, devils, demons or ghosts - basically the flesh. ***EDIT*** they're referred to as Atheistic or Laveyan Satanists and % out devil as only an emblem of human traits.

Maybe people who say this about atheist and evolutionist mean to say that atheist and evolutionist are buying into satans lies. His lies appeal to human logic. Like the lie that he doesn't exist. Like the lie that because someone chooses to believe Jesus they are brainwashed or unintelligent.

Lol are you actually trying to reason with these people? I guess it could be argued that one could worship someone without thinking they are a deity.... so it is possible... but satanism is a branch of christianity if you think about it.....
