Red for Piru/Blood I am a former W/S PIRU Comton ,CA

No red, burgandy. Especially shoelaces, tennis caps, hats, Flags(rags) in the right back pocket. No dickies outfit with those two colors. Dont call someone Blood.( What's going on Blood?)

Blue/ Rips (*rips ) Same thing as above do not say CUZ. (What's going on Cuz?)

But there are also Latino gangs that sport either red or blue and there not Piru/Blood or Crips.

Red is for bloods Crips is for blue. But it's so much more then the colors. If you wear brand names like adidas. Mean All Day I destroy a Slob. Slobs are what crips call bloods.Nike is the same. Cowboys is Crips On Warpath Beating On Young Slobs.Raiders and other teams. Bulls represent bloods. So you just got to know what brands and teams and the hood your in. Also a star of david could get you shot because it's the crip symbol if it's blue just like a 5 point star is for blood. If you need to roll one sleeve up for some reason roll them both up dressing to the left is crip dressing to the red is blood. don't have bandanna's out your pockets tied on your arms. If you wear on on your head make sure it isn't red or blue. Don't wear hats to a certain side neither.Try not to wear a hat and bandana both on your head.Normally you can see graffiti in the area if it got stars or gang lettering which is designs not buble lets like with letters or upside letters or bk or ck then you know it's a gang territory.be careful of what kind of jewelry.belt buckles to.Bags or things with the letter c or b could be mistaken as a symbol.don't go say what's up folks or people though not many peopel do because folks in the family that crips are involved in and peopled are bloods.there's to much but most of all just be careful.

It's going to depend what area you are hanging around in. If you are stolling through a known gang area and on their turf it's not much going to matter what you are wearing, so just be careful where you go out here. Obviously red it the color for Bloods and Blue crips, also raiders colors. If you are walking around area's wearing all red or all blue then you can assume you would be asking for trouble. If you are in LA wearing red it's not a problem unless you decide you want to take a stroll through compton etc.

I know a former Blood gang member. (He was a student of mine.)

The Bloods wear red, and the Crips wear blue. So avoid those two colors. Also, don't wear your pants hanging down to expose your underwear. Some guys think that's cool, but, according to my "Blood" source, it means you are ready for anal sex from a dominant male. It means you are someone's b*tch in prison.

Why you wanna get shot? It's not so much not rocking a certain color, it's not rocking a certain color in a certain hood or certain street. Long Beach is Blood & Crip, but I know by now not to rock blue just outside dwtwn, on the other side of Anaheim. In my experience if someone doesn't "recognize you" & you're a girl, they're just leave you alone & won't hassle you.
