Actually Acts 2:38 explains the salvation process best,it states repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus for the remission of sins and you shall recieve the gift of the Holyghost which is a fulfillment of John 3:5 where jesus says you must be born again of the water and the spirit!

I like to think that you can find both "Heaven" and "Hell" here on earth. If you spend your days thinking the world owes you something, feeling sorry for youself, angry, and serving only yourself, you will be very disappointed and live a sad, lonely, restless, unfulfilled life. That is what I consider Hell. If you spend your time helping others, improving yourself, and being grateful for the things you do have, then you will feel lucky, content, and happy. That is what I consider Heaven. So how do you get into Heaven? Work at making youself and everything around you better, be thankful for what you have, and if things ever do get bad, remember that it's your own attitude towards adversity that fuels your reaction and the outcome of your situation.

Read Acts Chapter 2, especially verses 38-39. These tell of God's salvation plan and will put you on your journey to understanding after you accept it's terms and study and grow in the Word.

There is a salvation process. Don't believe the ignorant who say there is no God, no Heaven, and no Hell. Also, don' t believe those who say, "every one will go to Heaven", Or "say this prayer and then you are saved:, no matter what you do for the rest of your life".
You have to come to believe that God is, that Jesus died for your sins, and live a life in accordance with, not only Jesus teachings, but most of The Old Testament as well. A person can't say, I want to go to Heaven, if I believe I'll go to Heaven, therefore, I believe'. A person must come to actually and really believe. In the New Testament, Paul says that we are saved by our faith. In the Greek the word that is translated "believe", is Pisteo. The word that is translated "faith" is pistis. These are 2 forms of the same word. Paul defines Faith as being, "firmly convinced". The only way we can come to be thorougly convinced is to read the Bible
(I'm sorry, but after you get to really know the Bible, you will come to realise that you can't trust either Protestant ministers or Catholic Priests to tell you the truth.)
Once you know what Jesus and His apostles teachings really are, you have to try to live by them, ask God to help you with this, ask for forgiveness when you fail, and try again. Also as you ask God for your daily specific needs, see that it is beyond coincidence when He answers your prayers, and see The Holy Spirit operating in your life that you will come to truly believe that God exists and that He loves you. This is the beginning of a personal relationship with God. God and His Word, the Bible will lead you on the right path.
The "Good News" is that God loves us and desires all of us to go to Heaven. That Jesus loves us so much that He allowed Himself to be crucified to death, to not only take our sins upon Him, but also, to show us how much He loves us. He, Himself said, "There is no greater love, than for a man to give his life for his friends".
God bless you for asking such an important question.

The door is Jesus...You must believe that he was sent by the most high God and is his son and only word of God..
That Jesus died for the sins of this world however we are to be judged on the sins of the eternal laws ( listed below )
and that God raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God.and to return to judge the living and the dead..
1.We must practice working for the good of others and things.
2. Stand against spiritual
3. practice and do truth for good
4. extend righteousness to others in our contacts
If we do not the above and practice do evil then this is what we are judged on..
And all religions, or people with no religion, no matter what sexual orientation... all those who practice the above four laws on earth are welcome into the kingdom/government of God..
Jesus' true ministry went into every religion, no religion in the known world...

Jesus did a lot of miricals to prove he was the son of God not because he had to but because he needed to in order to teach, help, and heal some people his deeds were good and he lived his life without sin. He also told you that if you believe in what he said about his father then you could and would go with him when you die. Jesus said " I go to prepare a place for you" and if he was lying then that would be his only one and I don't think any one would spend so much time being perfect just to screw it up like that so, believe what Jesus said and believe in Gods Holy Word and join us in an eternity of peace without pain. Peace

There is none. Just live your life. With kindness to yourself and others would be good, but that is a human judgment. We all return to "heaven" or the spiritual dimension. There is no other alternative. From there, we may stay awhile or actually choose to incarnate into the physical again. Hard to believe we actually choose this of our own accord, but apparently so.

Believe me I am not a religious fanatic. I hardly missed a service when I was growing up in Alabama. Went to Calif. and stayed away from God for forty-years. But now I am back. Christ said it was easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than it is for you to reach your Heavely Father.
All it takes to get to the throne of God is through His son Jesus Christ. No man comes to the Father but by Me. You can be "saved in a twinkling of an eye". Just confess your sins with your mouth, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He came down to save lost Souls, and that He rose from the grave and ascended into Heaven..Just believe in Christ...

First you have to realize that you are a sinner, that youv'e done wrong just like everyone else on earth has. Admit it and turn from your sin trying not to do it again even though we may fail sometimes. Trully believe that Jesus is Gods son and that He died for your sins and that he was raised. Ask Christ into your heart and try your best to live completely for Him. That's all.

Well according to the Christians the answer is simply "Jesus"
Not that that explains anything. You can say "Well, follow all of Jesus' rules that he put down" but that's a load of crap, since not everyone follows all of them. So really it's just "accept jesus as your personal lord and savior: everything else will fall from there."
Personally, I'm agnostic, so I don't know, don't care, now get off my lawn you damned kids!
