If the air is coming out of the dash vents, the system is defaulting to defrost. There is most likely a problem with your blend door.

It sounds like the blower motor wheel, (which resembles a hamster exercise wheel), has broken. Take it to a auto repair facility and see if I'm right.
I work at a Lincoln Mercury dealership, so I might be right!!!

The vent valve flap not opening? Recent stereo installation blocking flap's movement? If no air flowing anywhere is there a fuse blown?

You may have some kind of blockage in the airduct.
It wouldnt hurt to check the ac unit to see if it has a charge or is even active.

You have a vacuum hose broken, probably off the engine near the fire-wall.
