That's the reason they're smiling. Nothing gets them off quite like imagining people who do the things they'd like to do, if they weren't so afraid, suffering the flames of hell.
Isn't it ironic that it's the only pleasure they don't feel guilty about?

Ah Yes, and won't they feel stupid when they get to Heaven and find out that there isn't really a Hell -- it's like when your parents tell you to do something and say "i'm going to count to 3".....and we never knew what happened at "3"... they will learn that they aren't as "Godly" as they all think they are. We'll all go play, and they will go to the timeout chair!

I've never had that happen to me but it sounds funny the way that you describe it. :o)
You do know that someone can tell you that if you don't turn around and go the other way you will end up in hell, but no one can say that you are for sure going to hell don't you?

Absolutely.
Especially those who, in one breath will tell you that god is all loving and all forgiving, and in the next say that if you don't worship him, he'll send you to hell to be tortured for all of eternity.
