Not a small one. Like those...super sleek super sexy...whatever cameras. I like cameras with big lenses, and settings, and stuff. Sorry if I'm not being specific enough. But I need some reccomendations or suggestions or something.

Do you want digital or film ??? Either way Canon would be my choice, they do tend to be expensive for lens but there are a few compatible lens options on the market to lower the price eg Sigma. I bought well checked out second hand Canon lens for mine. I use a Canon EOS 10D, if you have the finances go for the 20D..newer model and higher spec. Mine gets used for everything now from family shots to architecture, nat history. Good luck with your choice!!!

anybody who grants one particular form, to illustrate, "Nikon is the main suitable form", then they are no longer expert photographers, consequently their opinion does not count variety. i desire to advise the two Nikon or Canon. you do no longer could desire to spend the tens of hundreds of dollars on a Leica or Hassleblad. As for which form, the only distinction between the extra fee-effective fashions, and the 'expert' fashions is the fee at which motor vehicle concentration works, how many concentration factors, how many megapixels (which isn't even a controversy if there is extra or much less), how many frames in line with 2d in case you're taking pictures in speedy succession. There are different advantageous properties that the expert cameras have, yet definitely, they simply make issues speedier and much less complicated extremely than aid you do issues which you won't be in a position of on extra fee-effective fashions. So how do you be responsive to no count if to choose for Nikon or Canon? bypass attempt them the two out. Whichever one feels suitable for you and you hit upon much less complicated to regulate, this is the digital camera you purchase.

I like the Olympus brand. There are a good variety in either film or digital. They are lightweight and easy to use. Most of the film cameras are automatic with manual over-rides.

Film or digital?

Olympus is my favorite. For digital try the E series.

For film, I suggest a used Olympus OM-4 or OM-2. Huge line of lenses and motor drives and flashes...all the goodies whether digital or film.

Try this one, 10X Zoom, great pictures, good low light pictures, lot of stuff for less money ($400 with a lot of extras, 1gig SD card, battery charger, camera pouch & few filters). I have one of these and I use it as a second camera now, my other camera is a Nikon 8800.

Add another vote for Canon, more specifically Canon AE-1. I love mine. Although, if you are filthy rich, I suggest Leica.
