50 meter radius on a 155m arty round that's a 100m diameter. I am a forward observer, I am the eyes of the artillery, if an arty round gets called in, the FO's called it. so trust me that's something I HAVE to know. to farley dude the m60 tank has a 105mm main gun, and the HE round for that is not that big of a kill radius, I was a crewman on an M1 prior to becoming an FO and we had the 120mm, to the asker of the question you going to listen to people talking out their rumps or to the person who's JOB it is to call in artillery rounds?

At 50 meters a man-sized target has a 50-50 chance of being hit with sustaining a disabling injury.

Note - this is 'proving ground' performance. The distance may be greater or lower depending on the type of fuse, terrain etc.

If you drop out you will no longer be "way ahead of everyone!" In high school they can change your classes to accommodate you. If the classes are too easy, the teachers will recommend you move up. Talk to them and your counselor. Dropping out is not the answer. Does your state offer a proficiency exam to finish early? In CA there is the CHSPE where you (16+ or done with 10th grade) get a diploma equivalent and can get on with your life, like to college.

50 meters is the kill radius and about 150m is casualty radius. This is for planning purposes only. I would not advise being 150m away. They are very load and they hurt when they go off near you.
