Don't get me wrong. I am all for a person trying to do what they can to pay the bills. But female bartenders that wear low low cut tops and call every male customer "honey" or "sweetie" is just bogus. Sometimes you can hear these women quietly talk to the other bartenders about something and the nice act goes away instantly. Or you see them off of the job and they act like b***hes. Anyways, some guys may fall for this junk and give them outrageous tips because they have been sweet talked but not me. I tip according to the standard. Flattery and insincerity is bogus.

16% is the standard tip? How the hell do you calculate 16%?

Low cut tops and calling your customer "sweetie" will get you more money. The girls know this. I've seen guy bartenders do the same act. Of course they're fake. I wouldn't concern myself with it too much, they only want your money.

At the same time they have to deal with slobbering drunks and walked tabs all day.

No matter what I tip $1.00 for every $5.00 (20%). Unless I am getting free drinks from the bartender then I'll throw a few more dollars.

Well, what do you expect. It's the service industry. You get service and you pay for it. It's not real. You don't have to pay for your friends and family to treat you well right? You shouldn't be taking it so seriously anyway. They are just bringing you something and it's just a job. If you had to deal with yucky men expecting something from you all night, how would you feel. They probably also feel stupid for having to do this for a living too.

What, you want them to act nasty to you just to keep it real?

Tip them what you wish, but tip them on the service and not whether or not you think you can get into their pants in real life.

And I personally don't mind low low cut tops on any hot bartender, regardless.

I don't care what they say or wear as long as they can make a true good drink. If they say honey or sweetie and you don't like it just say I'm not your honey. But I do not tip if I order a long island ice tea and it's yellow or a bahama mama and it taste like lemmonaid.

Dude, I think you are worrying too much about what women are thinking. I just called some guy 'love' this morning so that he would see me and I wouldn't run him over with my bicycle and I wasn't trying to get anything out of him. You are overly worried. Just chill

I bartended for over 8 years, and my "low cut top" and "honey" and "sweetie" earned me over a grand a week! I suggest you quit your pissin and moanin and drink your beer. Or just go to a gay club you di@khead!!!
