You could use unsweetened chocolate for a chocolate glaze, but remember, unsweetened chocolate has no sugar in it, so if you were to use it, be sure to add some sugar to your own taste.

Does the recipe call for sugar...

I woudl stick with unsweetened. Otherwise the recipe will become too sweet. Plus their is more oil's in bettersweet.

and it still wouldnt taste right
