My boyfriend is moving to Washington State. Today is the last day I saw him...we are trying to work out a long distance relationship by regular phone calls, emails, texts, MSN-ing. Does anyone have any advice that they can give me on how to deal with it? I'm a nervous wreck at the moment - I keep bursting into tears at every moment and I don't feel like talking to anyone. I don't knwo what I'm gonna do without him :( Also, does anyone have any tips on long distance relationships? xx

Unfortunately something like this is always going to be hard to cope with. I can promise though it will get easier. You just have to relax and take things one step at a time. Long distance relationships are hard. I wont lie. But you CAN make them last. My boyfriend calls me everynight before bed to talk [if we have time], say good night, & to say I love You. It really helps expessially when one of us is away. I lets me know he still cares & is thinking about me. Try suggesting this. Its good to hear their voice. If yall have digital camera's or web cam's that may help too! Seeing pictures will make things feel better. Talk as if he still lives near you. Tell him about your days. Keep things informed. I'm sorry he had to move but you will see him again aslong as yall try. Save up some money or get your parents to help you so maybe you can fly out to Washington to see him. Or maybe he can come back to where you are. I hope things work out & good luck! Things will hopefully get easier for you.

Long distance relationships are very difficult. You both will need to find time to see each other if that is affordable, otherwise unless the love you have for each other will have to be the ultimate in strength. Face reality, this may be the end of your relationship and work on building strength, keep busy and hope for the best.

Well it depends if you both really love each other and you better make sure cause I was in a long distance relationship and I was with her for 4 yrs and she ended up cheating on me cause she didnt love me as much as I loved her. Make sure he wants this to keep going and make sure you want to cause calling it off is better than being a cheater. It hurts and I dont think anyone should feel the way I feel. Good luck

chances r ,if u cant b 2gether now then u wont later, there is nuthin u can do, its done, i would suggest that u start lookin out for urself because if u put ur mind in a situation where ur gonna wonder what hes doin then u got troubles, u dont wanna go there, it will torment ur mind, so just tell him ur gonna let the chips fall where they will, in the meantime tell him ur gonna stay occupied with girl and guy friends, dont isolate urself, ul go crazy, the word is "accept" it,,,, start looking for "ur" happiness, remember life is about "you" being happy, never depend on someone to make u happy,,, u "creat" ur own happiness by what u do, life is too short to expect happiness from someone else,,,,,go out and "creat" ur happiness,,,,,good luck,,,scorpion
