Its still in its packaging.But I have so many they will expire before I can use them.Was wondering if you can freeze themand if they still have the same texture when they thaw

Yes you can freeze, and many people do so because of the effect freezing has on most tofu; when you thaw it to use, it will have a "meatier" texture.

If you have ever had "Pad Thai", a common ingredient to add is deep-fried "matchsticks" of previously frozen tofu.

Yes, you can freeze tofu. There are many different textures of tofu. If you freeze tofu, the tofu will have different layers and that's what the Chinese call "Old Tofu". Old tofu is edible; but because the texture is different now, you would put it in different kind of recipes. My mother used to do that all the time when I was a kid.

Yes and in fact you can make some great recipes with frozen tofu. It makes the tofu more manageable and gives it a nice texture. Look up recipes for cooking with frozen tofu.

i think so. it is supposed to be a food-like product and some foods can be frozen. why not tofu!?
