why do girls, especially blondes over process their hair? it looks like something from the eighties. can you please smooth it down, make the curls look like curls and not puffy. use an oil or something. no offense against blondes! sorry just had to say that.

Well, I have blonde curly natural hair, so Im not going to take offense. You should not put ALL blondes in the same category for 1. Thats like saying all blacks do this, all boys are that..... Your probably just jealous of some blonde gilr who stole you r man. So uh...Get over it. Rhonda!

I am a cosmetologist and I have noticed this. What everyone must understand here is that natural blonde is a recessive gene so fewer and fewer people each year are born with it. Taking hair from dark to light makes it brittle and much easier to damage. Most people just either don't notice or don't know how to fix it. A pomade or anti-frizz serum will fix them up with out ruining their style.

Women obess over hair, make-up, clothing etc. for the same reason birds have coloured feathers, beaks etc. In an effort to attract a member of the opposite sex. However, unlike other animals, we humans are in control of our appearance and unfortunately some do tend to change their appearance..too often. Which, as we all know, if you use too many chemicals, your hair, skin, clothing etc. will be affected.

Most the time blondes are not doing anymore than anyone else is to their hair they just have very fine, thin hair very very fragile, it takes awhile to learn this. Some think it is their hairdresser but it is really the lack of knowledge.

it's kind of crazy, huh? i'm a natural blond and take good care of my hair, but living in los angeles i saw a lot of this, it usually comes from too much bleaching and, or not enough nutrition - eating disorders cause very bad damage to you hair.... i do agree though, smooth, shiny locks are better then fake blond any day :)

Most girls who are blondes aren't natural blondes, therefore the texture of hair gets all screwed up, and they can't help how frizzy and disgusting it gets... Bleaching your hair out is worse than dying it darker. Harsher chemicals.

Oh Rhonda, while I agree with you 100%, that's like asking why doesn't everyone have common sense. They just DON'T.

Who knows. Some of the SKINNIEST GIRLS ALIVE look in the mirror and see THE FATTEST, some of the UGLIEST look and see the PRETTIEST, some of the PRETTIEST see the UGLIEST, see?

These girls simply LIE to themselves or CAN'T afford a real hairdresser to help them. God love'em.

lol, you kind of answered your own question, but i guess you didnt know it. blondes' hair looks more overprocessed because it IS. lightening your hair is much more damaging than other colors. i agree, on a lot of people it looks really stupid and fake because its so frizzy and unhealthy looking. mine is really light blonde, but it looks natural and i have it smooth and under control.

im not a blonde so i wouldn't know, but maybe they dont want to bet the proto-type girls in the "pantene" and "tresemme" commercials where their hair is just so full of volume and length
and is super shiny!
