First off i didn't answer your first q when I read it because I didn't see that it was put in a way that was worth answering, when you lump one group of people as a whole, whether it be by race, religion, nationalization and so forth these people and others tend to get offended. Although I do not condone calling people names, I feel that they are rightfully angry, yes they could have chosen what they said better as you could have chosen the same way. In reading your question It did come off as racist to me, but you do have a right to say what you feel as others also have a right to respond to what you have stated in kind. Hopefully in the future you can learn to have a bit more tact in how you word things

Racism is any style of discrimination per race. Her father does not want her relationship a Caucasian, as a result he made a racist fact and is harboring racist emotions. Racism isn't in basic terms against minority races, a guy or woman could be racist/make racist comments against Caucasians, merely comparable to Africans, Indians, middle Easterns, etc.

I had go back and research your questions. Your question is valid. Everybody has excuses for their lack of success. The slavery issue is dead. The fact that blacks continue to hang on to it culturally has had a devasting effect on their ability to get past it.
I too, am tired of hearing about it. There are entirely too many hard working, well educated blacks who are modern day success stories in the US. Blacks had no more to do with the growth of the US than did all of the other Irish, Italian, French etc immigrants who have come to this country. If they won't let it go....no one else will either. Why don't you just message the guy who ticked you off instead of asking several of these questions to the general public?

It won't do you any good to rant about it to someone who doesn't know what you're talking about. Get in a fight with the guy who called you a whore in the first palce, not all of us.

Here, I'll even provide the link to your own question so you can find the guy and leave the rest of us the hell alone! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar572Mj1VH5rveUHL7pfuULsy6IX?qid=20060728125349AAPozlQ

You should know that you are racist. People are just trying to help. It's kinda frowned upon these days, ya know.

And you'd have to prove they were lying with their comments. We don't know whether you're a whore or not. But se la vie.

you cant touch the subject or be rational about it because theres too many ill feelings on it...racism and hate exists and all sides are just as guilty. nobody is repressed or held back... but everyone blames the other for mistreatment ...my theory is the only solution is to forcibly educate it out of them, and i mean everyone, no group in particular ... its so self defeating to be racist because there are many forces in the world that will kill you as an american regardless of your race ... or take away your freedoms regardless of your race ... its these things we should drop our petty differences over and unite together to stand against

you know full well how people in this chat room are, why would you ask a question like that and not expect to be attacked? Even people who are nice are attacked in this chat room.

It was not your question per say. It was the way it was phrased and the assumption that all African Americans feel the same way.

Asking the question in the nature you did, you knew it would spark controversy. So shut up.

Your question wasn't necessarily racist. Just ignorant and pointless.
