I say go for it. The world just can't have enough Elvis impersonators. Have you considered moving to Tupelo, MS so he can get the accent down?

Good Lord almighty! I sincerely hope this is a joke. Let that child grow up and enjoy himself. He can make a decision later to become an Elvis impersonator if he wants.

You need money? Get a job.

if the kid wants to then let him play at it. maybe local festival contests would be fine, but don't get carried away with it. my son is 2 1/2 and loves to be cowboy elvis, that's what he calls it. his favorite elvis movie is flaming star. my son would be so excited if he had a rhinestone jumper. if you do decide to do it then make it a family thing. also, if he doesn't want to do it then don't make him or you will have one unhappy mini elvis on your hands. my son also loves peanut butter and banana sandwiches. i think my son is a bigger elvis fan than my grandma and i didn't think that was possible.

If you are going to make him do this for money then I surely hope that you are doing for his college or something and all the money made goes into a savings account thats just his money......I would suggest for your childs sake to let him grow up and have a say. Kids need to be kids not an adult in a childs body.

No, it's never too early - he'll have less competition.
