I now have to get braces again and surgery in my mouth because of my brother.
Story:He was petting my kitten and playing with him, so I was got bored waiting so I just picked up one of the blank notebooks sitting there and a pencial. I was just writing very lightly in pencial. Then he comes up and hits me hard in the forehead causing me to bang my teeth together. Messing up my three years of dental work I've already had done. So I camly asked him what did I do wrong. (It could have been erased.) And he replys with several bad words , and starts hitting my kitten and me. So I beat the crap out of my brother and give him many injures. So when my dad finally comes home and I explain what happened-I get yelled at!?! I'm just trying to understand this...What did I do wrong? I was just defending myself and my kitten. I know I shouldn't have wrote in his notebook, but now I have to get more detal work that will last 3 more years. I need another's persective on why I'm punished please......

maybe because your brother got hurt just as bad as you did and you shouldn't have hit him because if you didn't your dad wouldn't have to yell at you just your brother. if he does this alot you need to tell both of your parents

I think the beating the crap out of your brother part got you in trouble. Yes, he hit you first. But if you report him to your parents then, he may be the one that get yelled at. Also usually this type of situation took a long time to develop. Maybe it indicates that the relationship between you and your brother needs to be improved (you made it sound like he is a retard). Maybe your father need to develop trust in you so when you tell him stuffs, he won't just dismiss you. I need to find out the reason. Good luck and hopefully your dental work doesn't really take another 3 years.

It is just a thought but maybe you shouldnt hit anyone. Especially your brother. Maybe the reason that he hits you is that you-I assume the older-taught him that this was an ok thing to do.
Maybe if you stopped hitting him back he wouldnt hit you. I think you are in trouble with your folks because you HIT. There are other ways to handle these situations and when the "blows" start happening there is always a bigger price to pay.
Examples of what to do differntly:
A: I would have held him like in a hug and asked him to calm down.
B: I may have even gone to my room and shut the door to prevent him from hitting me .
c: Maybe you could have called your dad and asked him what you need to do.
Was there anyone watching you two or are you in charge when your folks are not home?

Well, it sounds like your parents have double standard. That isn't fair. You need to have a serious talk with them about the fact that you were only defending yourself from your brother. Also the fact that he attacked you and your kitten shows that he is violent and may be mentally disturbed or on drugs. They need to deal with him.
However, since you "beat the crap out of him" you are to blame too. Next time (although I hope there is not a next time), just get your kitten and get out of his way. Do not beat him up. Go in your room and close the door or go for a walk. And tell your parents right away.

Just charge it all to experience... after all there's nothing you can do to turn back time and undo the things.. right? I guess you also have to appologize to your brother for writing in his notebook & for giving him injuries. go figure out how you can have a good relationship with your brother and with your father. Again, bear with it, remember that they're your family and no one can replace them... not even a kitten or a dental work.

IDK, but that was very wrong what he did. I'm sure he didn't mean to hit u so that your teeth would be that way, but you know what sometimes that's how it really is. Trust me. I also get blamed for everything too. And once someone pushed me and my tooth chipped, and i beat them up after calling me rude names. Then i get the blame and beat up too, by my mom. I just can't believe that u have to go threw all that again! my tooth has been botherin' me ever since 7 years old! i'm 12 now.

I'm very sorry to hear that... But I don't know what you did wrong to your life... I mean did you steal something? broke someone's heart? did anything terrible? or what? I think this situation is meant to happen... Sorry... All I can say is that be brave... If I were you, I would.............. I don't know..... (i'm sorry) I never experienced such thing...
