really the only reason why the man is paying is because he wants to
spend time with the whore (its just like prositution but w/o the sex)

Ummm...disagree!! A man pays to show he is a gentleman, that he really wants to spend time with the woman and he doesn't mind showing it. Just dinner does not make you a hoe. I always offer to pay/chip in when my boyfriend and I go out. Of course he always declines because he has manners, but I would be more than willing if he would let me.
And if a man is only paying for dinner because he's expecting something else, then that doesn't make him any better than the 'whore' now, does it.

it really depends. most women like to be wined and dined. some girls feel like we should pay because we're taking up their time and because "we" asked them out so naturally we should pay.

there are cool girls however that are exactly the opposite and wouldn't let a man pay and split the bill in half. overall, i think it's still nice for a man to be chivalrous and pay provided that the girl doesn't expect that.

bottom line ladies, if you want to leave a good impression on the guy just "offer". 99/100 times the men will say no and instead pick up the tab while thinking the world of you simply because you offered.

Anyway, I disagree. If a woman wants to pay she can. The guy usually pays b/c he's the one who asked and b/c it's the "gentleman" way to go. If paying for a meal if that big of a deal for a guy, then maybe he shouldn't ask a woman to dinner. Go do something free instead.

I don't think that women should EXPECT for the men to pay. BUT, if I were to ask a woman out, I expect MYSELF to pay. But I also think that, even though the woman isn't expected to pay, it's just common courteousy, and respectful to at least make a gesture in offering to pay.

Many women are contradictory in terms. Alot are all about woman's lib, women can do things as well as a man can. And I would be the first to agree with that. But these same women also, EXPECT doors to be opened for them, wined and dined, chairs pulled out etc... For these women, if you can believe your just as good as men, why don't YOU open the doors for them, pull out the chairs, and pay for dinner. To be fair, NOT ALL women have double standards like this. I've even argued with dates about who's paying. But I've learned over the years, that if a woman is insistant, let it go. Pay next time. Now those are the women worth paying for. ;-)

OK and what are guys when they don't pay,It should be 50/50 but if she asked you out she should pay and if u didn't want to spend time with them why would u asked them out most girls wont find u kind,sweet after and not call you or dump you on the spot plus gentlemen always pay on the first date it shows your nice,kind,sweet,a gentleman and then they will start paying

I disagree. I go to the nicest restraunts in the area that don't even have price tags on the womens menu. Just the mans. If I am on a first date he pays. Later down the line if it becomes more serious yes I pay sometimes.

It's the 21st century... and girls can pay if they want to. I occasionally pay for dinner. When I do, my bf and I usually split the date 50/50, like he pays for the movie and popcorn and I pay for dinner. While it's nice to see chivalry still alive and well where guys pay for drinks, the women's lib movement happened in the 70s. Girls can do anything a guy can do. and FYI, I've had bfs where I paid for almost everything and I did all the driving.

They can pay, but the man is the provider so they are supposed to pay for things. But now a days, women want to be fair in everything, so it's only right that things are 'fair'. So they them women should pay also. I don't think they are hoes though. Your age may have to do with you thinking.

Men should pay. I know it might be just a tad bit tough to be chivalrous in this day and age, but it doesn't mean it can't be done. Only after a you've gone on a few dates should it be considered, but not before 3 or 4. Then again, I was raised by women, so chivalry was instilled in me from jump street

I disagree. Most men pay cause in the old days it was the proper thing to do to be a gentleman. Oh and for your info there are women out there who pay like ME.
