I also have hair that is curly until I put a brush through it. If I brush it or even play with it too much it frizzes out like an afro. I use frizz eaze right after I get out of the shower and I don't rinse all of the conditioner out of my hair. I also use Pantene shampoo and conditioner-it really helps. A little mousse and some gel made for curly hair and I am all set. Good luck! You can turn your curls into a blessing if you have some patience! For a long time, I thought that they were a curse. Not anymore.

I have the same problem- The best product EVER is Biosilk Silk Therapy- It is fairly expensive, but even a small $10 bottle will last a long time. After you wash your hair, apply the biosilk, then blow dry or let dry natural. It has done miracles on my hair- i keep it in my purse for touch ups on dry hair as well. Also, I have a large 3'' round ceramic curling iron. I heat it up and use it to calm the frizz, not by actually using it the normal way, but by sliding it across my hair similar to an iron- it seals the frizz down flat. Also- if you have more time to spend, a cermaic flat iron is great! Good luck!

Comb ur hair when it is wet and apply a serum or light moulding wax. Preferably purchased from a salon. It may cost a little more, but is well worth the investment. If you do have to brush it when it is dry apply a little more serum. Avoid ur roots though, otherwise u may end up greasy. The great thing about these products is the next day u may only need a little top up, if any at all.
I have taught hairdressing and swear by these products, especially during hot humid weather. I like the L'oreal Kerastase range. My best mate is also a hairdresser and she uses a cheaper ASDA version if u r on a budget. She says it is great!
If all else fails try Vasaline. You will need a good shampoo to stop build up of any of these products. Please apply in moderation, u can always add more if u require it!

Use a hair pick instead of a brush when your hair is dry......using a brush causes the frizz.

why do u want to brush it?? all curly hair even permed hair frizzes when brushed.only brush hair before you wash it[with a conditioning shampoo]. use an antifrizz serum and let your hair dry naturally or on a low speed warm[not hot]blowdryer. use a straightening iron only when hair is completely dry
