I like the first one. The reason why is actually pretty simple. Everyone longs to feel successful. When attaining that goal of success becomes difficult people feel as though they are failures. But when one sees in such a way (failure is never final) it becomes easier to keep going. If one feels as though failure is never final, it gives one the strength to continue trying to achieve his/her goal. We also have to look at the beginning of the quote...success is only temporary, it's there to remind us that no matter what we achieve here on Earth...we cannot take it with us when we die. It's a good quote, I like it.

The success quote makes sense, the flight quote is twisted.

“Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.”

“Success is a journey, not a destination.”

“Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get”

“Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit.”

“Success is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom.”

“Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you traveled from where you started”

“Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.”

The second one. Who wants to dwell on their failures for the rest of their life? I like the fact that in the second quote, you have actually accomplished something and am proud of it.
