i think you're trying to say sympathetic and parasympathetic.
look under sympathetic/parasympathetic nerves in web search and click on the ANS.

The sympathetic nervous system provide general effect like dilation of the pupils, increases heart rate, in general it prepares your body for stressful situations. the parasympathetic system does the opposite. It relaxes your body
