It's so embarassing and uncomfortable when guys hit on me or yell stuff at me or flirt with me or stare at me when one or both of my parents are there. I have family get togethers with parents and this happens all the time when we are out. What can I do?

You can't control other people. You can only try to limit your exposure to them.
The point you're missing is the lack of explaining your feelings and why you feel this way? Are you embarrassed? Can you talk to your parents and see how they feel about it? You seem to be ok with being hit on otherwise, so maybe you're not comfortable with being a girl/woman in front of your dad? Why would you want to be a different person in front of him?

Tell your Dad. Tell him you don't like it. Point out the boys that are doing the yelling. Likely he'll leap to your rescue. I know I'd put the fear of God into someone rude enough to do something like that while I girl is with her family.

Tell your dad that you're not comfortable with that and to be a dad and step in for a change. Also, make sure that you don't do anything acting and/or dressing that would call for these reactions.

It's not your job, it's your dad's job to beat the crap out of them.. If I had a daughter and I was around when guys were making lewd/harassing comments... i'd knock their teeth so far down their throat they'd have to stick a toothbrush up their a.ss just to brush them..
Tell your dad it bothers you... tell him to grow some nuts..

Ignore them. There is no way to stop a guy from being a jerk and doing that infront of your parents. They should have more respect for you and your parents then that.

Just say hey dad really loud when your talking to him and make him talk about something he hates so guys will be scared to go up to you

wear decent clothes that cover most of your body
tell your dad that you dont know them and ask him to shut them up
dads are protective hell defend you instantly
