What is it like to live in Mossman, Australia?

Cost of living? Realestate prices? Shopping, grocery, etc? Employment? Does the tourism make it misserable? How does Port Douglas compare? How does Cairns compare?

Mossman (2 esses) is a town in Queensland. Other than to correct that misapprehension I have nothing to add.

Mosman is a lovely place but it's very very very expensive to live in Sydney in general. Two hours north is Newcastle, which isn't too bad. It's a lot quieter than Sydney with all of it's perks. Decent employment prospects if you look but the rental market everywhere has been pretty crappy lately.
