If it's silent would you say excuse me if it starts to stink? Then they say excuse what and they don't smell it.
What if you ruptured your bottom and the chair you are sitting on happens to be wood? That would make some entertaining noise.
Would you laugh or not say anything?

I'd deny it ever happened, act like you don't smell anything (after all everyone likes their own brand)..
I'd probably laugh, and it would just errupt... wooden chairs have almost the perfect acoustics for loud farts.. the best are at restaurants with plastic seats.. try it sometime.
My favorite thing to do is walk through big stores.. like K-Mart and fart in aisles that I know people are following me down.. just drop the bomb, turn the corner and keep an eye on their faces.. it's the best!! Ahhhh good times.. My dad taught me well.. hehehe!!!

Maybe say "Excuse me" or just stay quiet. I wouldn't make a big deal about it, but I wouldn't count on getting that job.
