I hate sit ups is there another way. Im 5 foot 6 at 135lbs and everythings else looks great except the belly andI do exercise and eat good.

Maybe you don't eat good enough to minimize waste in colon. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

That is one of the hardest places for a woman to loose the fat. Notice I said 1. Anyway, here are just a few tips:
1. Eat only when you are hungry
2. Do not snack on junk foods
3. Reduce your intake of carbs
4. Run
5. While you are eating, stop once you feel slighly full
6. Stay away from beer
7. Punch a punching bag (talk about sore stomach the next day)

If you are exercising already you probably have a strong core. To get away from standard crunches or sit ups, try an exercise ball or leg lifts. Balancing on the ball while raising your arms or legs will work your abs.

You have to reduce the amount of fat in your body. You can do all the sit ups in the work and you won't get a flat stomach. You'll get really strong abs though. But it will be covered by a layer of flab.

But Yoga and Pilates are great for your core.

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). Pilates is the best exercise for that. I like winsor pilates DVD's but there are other ones that I'm sure are good too. http://www.winsorpilates.com
