This happened to me about 2 years ago.
I knew this girl for quite some time, and we were more so friends than anything else.
One summer night she met this guy. He was the "bad boy" type, and I knew him previously from my old high school. I kind of subtley warned her about "Mr. Bad Boy", but she was the type to give the benefit of doubt to anyone.
Well the night came for her date with "Mr. Bad Boy", and around 1:30am in the morning she rings my cell. She's crying and asking me to come pick her up. So I did. Apparently "Mr. Bad Boy" wanted her to put out, but she's not the type of girl to put out immediately. So he left her stranded infront of his place.
I brought her back to my place, because she didn't want to go home. She slept on my bed and I took the couch downstairs. Nothing happened.
A year later I ran into him, and had a "chat" with him.
So my question is, Why even bother with these jerks? How can being treated like **** have any positive impact on you?

Two reasons, I think.
One- It's a challenge, trying to "save" the bad boy. Make him come over to the side of good (while not, of course, losing any of his roguish charm) because of and for you alone.
Two- He's the guy that uses girls, and probably hasn't had any serious relationships. You want to be different. You want him to show you the soft side that he hasn't shown anyone else. You want to feel special. The nice guys treat everyone nice, and with respect. It's selfish, but you want to be the only one.

well not all the "bad boy" types r like that. some just put out that front when they want to hide something that is painful to them. u never know when they want to **** or just want to be with u,u never know. u see some ppl have bad pasts and hide behind the bad image when they r really a nice person inside. does that make sence at all?

girls like a challenge...something to fight for. and someone who will stick up for themselves. it's like good is nice. but the bad boy type is just so mysterious that you can't help but take a look. bad boys are hot to me. but what's even better is a guy that fronts bad but is really the nicest ever

Yeah it was retarded that she bothered with him. Especially with a warning with you as a good friend. But people have to find things out for themselves no matter how stupid or waste of time it is.

I wonder that myself. Why do women go for the jerks. My theory is they act christmatic and charm them; then when they're married they thier bad boy husband or boyfriend for what they really are.

we think we can change him, and we(well at least I) like doing pretty much the opposite of what everyone says. i think is the hope of " one day it might get better" thing, but i gave up, and found myself a nice, caring, lovin guy, which i love with all my heart. she'll come around and notice that all she ever wanted is right in front of her (you) so, don't give up.

that is so sweet i wish i had a guy like u and we do that because girls are dumb and think they wont hurt them i think every guy will hurt u but i think just give it a try and if he does dont cry u know it was going to happen
