its understandable to be curious about sex at 12 but to commit to the act of sex at such a young age is alot to think about. Sex is not a game and it requires lots of responsibility. Once you become active, a whole new world of disease and doctor appts become your lifestyle even if nothing is wrong. At 12, you shouldn't be concerned with pregnancy or STDs. There are lots of diseases w/o symptoms that you could catch and not know it until you're 20. Then you're screwed for the rest of your life all because you had sex out of curiosity at the tender age of 12.
Its just not worth it! Sex is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo overrated yet young people seem to be sooooooooo ready to get involved in it for a quick feeling that last about 10 min. At the age of 12, you wont even know what you should be feeling.
go play with some toys and come back to this when your of age.

some people do some people dont! i been with my hubby since i was 12 married at 18 and now 34 i have 5 kids ages 18 girl 17 boy 16 girl 14 girl 11 boy! but im still with my man! and to answer the question yes i had my first one at 14

Here it is I'm 12 to and I know just what its like!
And I think the last thing u would want is to be pregnant at our age. And what would u tell ur parents.Shore it muite seem great but I think wait until ur older I know I am.
So who ever this guy is weather hes older then
u or not.Tell him to stop pushing u into it ur not
ready.If hes the right guy to be with he'll
understand but if hes the wrong guy whos just using u he won't understand.

i know the last thing a kid wants is to be told "no", or to feel theyre being talked down to. HOWEVER.... i know a little about psychology and child development. if someone your age feels the need to be having sex already, somrthing is awry. these may not be things that are easy to admit to yourself, but typically a child considering sex at this age is usually poorly guided at home, longs for approval, and feels inadaquate. SEX IS NOT A BAND-AID! 12 is too young, and you realize that, or you wouldnt be reaching out, most likely. you have your whole life to experience sex, but you can never take it back once you have, and you can never take back the consequences. (condoms offer only an 85% rate of success.... that means you have a 15% chance of pregnancy or an STD. remember... herpes and HIV are forever..... please, please, please, as a mom of a 12 yr old daughter, and as someone who got pregnant THE FIRST TIME i had sex, at age 16, which resulted in me losing my first child due to prematurity, DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!! you have your whole life, my dear .... enjoy this last little sliver of childhood that you have left.

OMG at 12 I was in the 6th grade hanging out with my girlfriends shopping at the mall and going crazzzy overeDuran Duran, I wasnt even thinking about sex, what is wrong with you kids.. Sex is for grown married adults to make babies.

NO! NO! NO! I just wish kids would be kids instead of trying to grow up! Sex comes with problems and they are problems a 12 yr old doesn't need to worry about.

From my expreince, it is dependant upon what lifestyle you live in as to if that would be appropriate or not. Personally, I don't think it is appropriate, but I have known kids to have sex as early as the age of 7 and 8. Yes, it happens and yes it shouldn't happen.

No, wait until you are at least 18 and married! Please don't do that at such a young age. Any time you have sex you need to be ready to become a mother, any guy you have sex with could be the father of your child!

No, I wouldn't, and, I didn't. I waited till I was 21 years old. I got pregnant by my fiance....I guess I really should have waited till I was actually married. He didn't want us.
With sex comes lots of responsibility, you don't need that right now. Enjoy being a kid!
