I'm sorry, I know it's a sign of dominance, I think? He is 5 months old and is already neutered, but sometimes he will hump my little girl 4 months, immediately I tell him NO and he stops, but I will still catch him doing it.... will he grow out of this and is this normal behavior? (he doesn't hump any other dogs or people)

Dogs that "hump" do it to show domination. They are establishing an alpha order. It has zero to do with sexual orientation or need to reproduce. Sometimes they stop...sometimes it never does. It is normal for your dog to do this. It does not matter that it is spayed or neutered or is fully intact.

Dogs Humping is also a sign of Acceptance. Cesar Millan explained this on one of his Dog Whisperer episodes while introducing to dogs(they were boxers). You can learn a lot about dog behaviors from Cesar.

it's to show dominance over the other dog. He wants to be the boss. Neutering him will help with that, and he's probably old enough now to consider getting it done.

Maybe he doesn't know he's fixed. My dog does the same thing, only their not puppies. But Tasha's puppies would hump each other and it was only the males that would do it to each other, even though they had sisters. And Tasha would hump one of her puppies.

This is normal, he is showing he is the Alpha dog, the dominant dog, the big guy in charge.

Dogs do do this as a sign of dominance and they also do it as play. Keep discouraging you do as you have been doing and hopefully he will stop.

He's just showing the other dog that he's the boss. Don't get freaked out by it. It's normal.

He will probably grow out of it. I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep discouraging it like you already say you are doing.

He will grow out of it. It is normal for a puppy to do this. If he doesn't grow out of it after being nuetured, you may want to change his name to HUMPFREY.
