It's a three way tie between the Dodge, Honda, and Toyota. The best one depends on what you need.

Want a lot of cargo space or plan on changing between carrying people and stuff often? Go with a 2005 or later Dodge Grand Caravan (or ChryslerTown and Country if you want a better interior) with the "Stow and Go" seating.

Need to carry a lot of people? Go with a 2004 or later Toyota Sienna. The SE and LE trims have 8 passenger seating available. Honda does too, but the middle seat in the middle row of the Toyota is much bigger. You can actually fit an adult in it.

The Honda is the best driving of the bunch (IMHO) although all of them drive well. If 7 person seating and a little less cargo carrying capacity is okay for you then it's a good choice.

One cool thing about the Japanese vans over the Dodge is windows that roll down in the sliding passenger doors. Very cool for the kids.

You'll pay less for the Dodge or Chrysler.

If you're leasing then choose the Toyota or the Honda. American cars just depreciate faster which can hurt you when it's time to roll the lease.

If you're buying used look at the Dodge vans since the higher depreciation works in your favor.
