The dog is the ugliest thing I have ever seen but the sweetest dog ever! would you happen to know what kind of dog it is?

I have a dog, I named him Gizmo because he looks just like Gizmo from the Gremlins. He is a Papillon, but I don't find him to be ugly though. They are the 8th smartest breed of dog as well.

A Pekingese; I think the ugliest dog in the world is that dog on Harry Potter, the 2 wrinkly dogs I saw them in real life someone took them to a Petco. I don't know what their called.

Sam, the dog in the pic, is a purebred chinese crested. He has won ugliest dog for 5 years in a row. That little thing scared the crap out of me when I saw him. He recently died of old age at 15 years old. (poor ugly little thing)
