well find out what movie he likes and ask him if he wants to see it with you but say your parents are going to be there and then make a move on him in the theater and if he likes it then he is gay but if he doesn't then you know he is straight. And by the way wait 5 more years and if you still likes boys then your gay because it could change.

You're 12 for Christ's sake! Asking him out or even asking other people if he is gay will be like red rag to a bull when dealing with other children. Make friends with him by all means, but you are not old enough to have sex by a long way, and if you want to have a boyfriend than wait until you are grown. You know what children are like when they know someone is different in any way. And if everyone else already knows you are gay, you will embarrass him regardless of his sexuality. Assuming your question isn't a piss-take, have some common sense about the problem.

Dear friend

I do not want to devalue your view on your sexuality, but if you are twelve years old, you have not even started towards sexual maturity.

When I was twelve (forty years ago), a lot of us boys had "fads" about each other - our bodies were beginning to mature with the start of the growth of pubic hair, and we would undress in front of each other and "compare notes" as to how each of us were getting on. Or we would see each other naked in the showers after school games and sport, and similarly compare notes. This is generally known as having a "crush", and is a perfectly natural occurence in boys and girls.

Girls mature more quickly than boys, and are often self-conscious about the growth of breasts and pubic hair, and therefore generally do not want to indulge in sexual experiments with boys, at least until they are a bit older.

I am not Gay, but I am not anti-gay. I do feel, however, that you are a bit too young as yet to know your sexuality, as your brain and body are just starting to mature. If you feel that your feelings are causing you problems, talk to your parents, and perhaps, your doctor. I'm not saying you are sick or ill, but doctors have a vast knowledge of sexuality, and will be able to put your mind at rest.

You are 12 - this really isn't something you ought to be worrying about just yet.

You should be climbing trees, riding your bike, hanging out with mates. You have all the time in the world for romance. Don't try to grow up too quickly.
