Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Man I tell you, if you want to see how much influence Satan has on people in regards to opposition to Jehovah's people, you came to the right place. They can't agree on many things, but they can agree on opposition to God's organization despite the evidence without words speaking for itself. Jesus even said by their fruits you would recognize these ones (Matthew 7:20). Just keep enduring to the end of this system no matter what Satan throws at you.

I was one for 35 years, held a position in the congregation but always had doubts. When I mentioned this to my wife at the time she immediately called the elders and they came over trying to show me where i went wrong. When I asked them questions not only about the orginizational teachings, but about the Bible itself that they could not answer, I was told not to question anything Jehovah teaches us through the orginization ..... in other words, don't question the organization. One of them even admitted to me he had the same questions. I asked him what he does about it and he said "I just don't think about it". This is a man leading a congegation of people. Keep in mind these people were my "friends" and were now looking at me as "demonized" just because I was asking sincere, reasonable questions. These are people who I had in my home and whose home I was in many times. We ate, drank together. My wife said she was afraid to be in the same house with me because I'm bringing demons in. All because I said I believed god also gave his spirit to non-jw's who need it to and not just to his organization.

That's how it all started. It steamrolled from their to me being kicked out of the organization, getting divorced and not having my family talk to me for over a decade. My daughter who is still one and hasn't talked to me in five years and only once in the past 10.

Sound sad?

Believe it or not, a happy ending. After being booted out I decided to take a look for the truth and I took years to objectively examine what i should believe, looking at all possibilities. I determined there is no god like the ones people are worshiping, I realized that evolution is correct and that we should all assume responsibility for our own actions and stop assigning praise or blame to the good god or the evil one. I found the truth and the truth has set me free.

The last 10 years of my life have been the best and I'm loving every day of life doing what I want to do and not letting the dictates of a god or an organization tell me what i should do with my life.

I'm not on a mission against them, I think the answers I have given about them have been accurate and this story is in no way embellished, in fact it's just the tip of the iceberg. I could write an entire book about my experience, but I don't feel the need to. I know of many others with stories worse than mine, much worse.

I may take a jab or two during my answers about them, but I do that for most religions because I put the JW's in the same boat as every other faith.

This one just screwed me worse

I view JW's, the same as i view Mormons, muslims, hindus, buddhists, catholics, etc. they fail to have faith in the true, biblical Jesus and as a result are leading many people astray with man-made doctrines. i don't have a mission against them. i want them to be in heaven someday. but i will not speak well of anything that sets itself up against the knowledge of the true biblical god.

Because he is disgruntled. More importantly he is unhappy with his life and so he feels a need to lash out at us. All that can be done is hope he one day comes to his senses.

Because they're obnoxious and won't go away when you tell them to. And they're always begging for money to pay for their little pamphlets they leave with you and which I always toss into the recycling bin.
