I don't know if many people can deny the cruxifixion of Jesus, since there are historical accounts from around that time to confirm that fact.
However, not everyone chooses to believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and that this cruxifixion fulfilled the Messianic prophecies. Since this is a spiritual belief that cannot be proven through historical fact, it's their prerogative.
And since Charles Darwin was born in 1809, I'm sure it wasn't him up on the cross. Religious freedom gives us all the comfort of having our own personal beliefs--Christian or not. Just because people disagree with your faith doesn't mean that should belittle them.

According to Roman records there were quite few folks who wound up on the cross. I only found a few whose names sounded like Darwin - Darius, Darsus and Darvinus. There is no Roman record concerning a Jesus. I hope this helps.

Why is it that the Romans Who were meticulous record keepers by the way recorded the other people on the cross on the day in question but there is no mention of Jesus?
Grow up and stop asking religous questions to which even you do not know the answer

Don't be silly. Darwin lived much more recently than Jesus, and they didn't even have crucifixion in Darwin's time.
Darwin went down to the Galapagos Islands and he didn't even want to believe what he was beginning to see. He fervently wanted to believe the Bible, and he believed it for as long as he possibly could.
What was your question again? Oh, your question was about Jesus. Yes, Jesus was real person, what are you suggesting? What is the meaning of your question? Is this a trick question or what?

There may have been a man named Jesus who was nailed to a cross; we know he wasn't alone -- lots of people were crucified. It was a form of execution in the day, and a particularly cruel one at that.
As for Darwin, he was a scientist, and I fail to see how he factors into this.

Actually, many historical figures were put to death by crucifixion. Many regular, non-magical people died this way. Jesus, if he existed, was not special for dying on a cross.
In fact, many historical figures were said to have been born of a virgin and/or returned from the dead. Even before Jesus! Jesus was not unique in that area either.

Well, among others, about 6000 of Spartacus's followers were crucified in 71 BC.
Tons of people were crucified at some point or another. Was there a guy named Jesus who was killed by the Romans? Maybe, maybe not. Was he some sort of godlet? Not likely, but hey, whatever gets you through the night.

There may have very well been some guy named Jesus nailed to a cross, but I fail to see why I should believe that he was God.

Lots of people believe in Jesus. They just don't believe He was the Christ. Satan believes in Jesus. Belief that He exists doesn't save you. I'm not sure Darwin ever existed.

Jesus was up there on the cross, along with hundreds of other people that the Romans crucified. However, just because he was on the cross does not mean that I think of him as my savior. There were hundreds of others who were crucified, yet they are not remembered today!
