I am Christian. While I certainly applaud Caroline's desire to share her faith and her fervor for the Word, Yahoo answers is not the correct format for the posting of Bible verses. I would suggest that she either join or form a Yahoo Group, or a blog, or a website. Even an e-mail list would work, but not Yahoo answers. Sorry, I think the right choice was made. As I said in another response, if she were asking questions about a verse that would be ok, but to just post verses is not what Y! Answers was designed for.

This is YAHOO! ANSWERS and you DON'T see why people see this as arrogance? Seriously? There are SO many other places on the Web to spread Christianity and are approved to do so, go to one of them and don't bother the people with HONEST questions.
You have been reported, THIS IS NOT A QUESTION.
Honestly, you ask yourselves, what WWJD, and then you sit on your rear-ends and do NOTHING of the kind. You simply PLAY at your christianity.
Get OUT and preach which is what Christ Jesus did do!
Christ may love you, that doesn't mean he appreciates your attitude.

I can appreciate her wanting to do this, however, that would open up y!answers to quotes being posted about ALL religions and spiritualities, including Wicca and witchcraft, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, etc. If you wouldn't mind that, then I wouldn't mind bible verses, but it would need to be fair.
I think that, however, people are right to remind you/her that this is a place for QUESTIONS. But, many people post verses to discuss, maybe if you wanted to post daily bible verse DISCUSSIONS and studies of various passages they wouldn't deleted them.

This is not a bulletin board. It's a place to ask questions. Bible verses are not questions. Therefore they don't belong here. So no, we shouldn't cheer for her.
