If you wish to immigrate to Canada you need to contact the nearest Canadian consulate. However if you even have a misdemeanor record, you might have better luck in Mexico.

Well... yes, you should get to the police and they might get you in a witness program, change your identity or something, if you want to change countries, well, sometimes police can help you do that, you may ask for political asylum, just take in mind that if you are making everything up, you might end up in jail, for the political asylum you have to present proof that your life is in danger.
