Both describe universal realities. Fact usually conotes realities concerning the mundane. Truth carrys more of a sense of eternal and universal realities.

Absolutely. Let me explain.
I had a group of friends come over to my house. As they entered, I offered everyone except one a soda (or a beer). This is a fact. You may think I'm being an inconsiderate host.
However, the Truth is that my friend is diabetic and a soda might kill him (or he might have an ethical aversion to alcohol). And so in specifically not offering him the drink, I was being a good friend.
Another example: I beat my kids. This is a fact. You may think I'm abusive and might call the cops.
The Truth is that I'm discipling my children in a Biblical way. I'm not abusing them at all, I'm merely correcting bad behavior.
Another example: There is a room which women are strictly prohibited from entering. This is a fact. You might call me sexist.
The Truth is that the room is a public restroom for men. Etiquette and modesty are now champions.
Another example: Some species of finch on a remote island bears offspring that are slightly better adapted to their environment. This is a FACT. You might say that evolution therefore must be true.
But, the TRUTH is that the DNA for the modification has ALWAYS been in the original finch, and that it only needed a NEED for the gene to be activated. The offspring is still a bird, as opposed to some other kind of animal, and it's offspring and it's offspring will also be birds.
The distinction between fact and truth is a very useful distinction indeed.

The obvious interaction, or medium of relevance, would be that they are stemming on the possitve side of center, for one. But I'd have to say that since truth alone can be interpreted in miriad ways and fact is fact (usually as written) has too few variables to make a simily. Ill say the most common denominator would be that they both must be believable. DeanCpoetry

A fact is something which we know. Truth is the extent of everything there is to know. Facts are finite, but the truth is infinite.

A fact is something that is deffinitly proven and is known by science to be something that is and always will be. A truth is something that is just true. It wont always be the same, it might change.
